Just found this one, nice little simple thing and by the looks of it will do the job. If you just need to charge something via USB this is the one. Most mobile phones and mp3 players let you do that now.

I can remember years ago where I was cutting grass for my folks, neighbours etc to get some pocket money.
I enjoyed doing it at my grandparents since granddad always kept the lawn mower sharp and well oiled and my grandmother would always "pay" me well in cake and food :)

On March 7, the LCC presents the annual women’s bike ride to mark International Women’s Day. Female-focused, but not exclusively for women, the ride will lead you around some of London’s best routes, encompassing landmarks which have particular significance to the fairer sex.

There had been some confusion about when the Bike Weeks when be in 2010. I think that bikeweek.org.uk have now set it in stone, 19-27 of June 2010.
This year it is sponsored by EdF and they have set up a team called Team Green Britain.

Over on copenhagenize.com they have post about how other cities are promoting cycling.
I totally agree with them that the way New York are "promoting" cycling in their ad Look, is just wrong and is very linked to car-centric fearmongering and this will NOT get more on their bikes.
The others they list on copenhagenize are brilliant and will get people cycling for sure. Especially the one from the Hungarian Cyclists Federation, ...

In Copenhagen there is 37% of all people commuting to and from school, work and universities. But when you add the journeys to and from the shops and cinema e.g. all trips it is 55% by bicycle !!
Mikeal from Copenhagenize and StreetFilms.org talks about how the Copenhagen have changed and now it can be done.
It is possible.
